WCAG Contrast Checker

Accessibility matters. The built-in contrast checker calculates the WCAG 2.1 luminance contrast ratio between any two colours. It reports pass or fail for all four thresholds: AA normal text (4.5:1), AA large text (3:1), AAA normal text (7:1), and AAA large text (4.5:1). A live preview panel shows exactly how your foreground text looks on the chosen background colour, so you can verify readability before committing to a colour scheme.

RGB Sliders & Live Preview

Dial in the perfect shade using individual red, green, and blue sliders. As you drag each slider, the colour swatch, HEX code, and all other format values update in real time. This is especially useful when you need to nudge a colour slightly darker, lighter, or more saturated without switching to a full design application. The large preview swatch above the sliders lets you see your colour at scale.

Colour History

Every colour you select is added to a session history of up to 20 swatches. Click any swatch to reload that colour into the picker. This makes it easy to compare colours side by side, build a mini palette, or return to a colour you explored earlier. Clear the history at any time to start fresh.
